The measure of a man! The charity in each of us. ****PLEASE READ****

There was a line that I just thought about from Spiderman, something to the tune of 'with great gifts come great responsibilities.'

Not to blow my own horn, but Desiree and I have been blessed with 2 great gifts. The first is to make good looking baby boys, the second is to capture life through our cameras.
We often get so carried away in using our gifts to make coin that we forget about the need there is in this world for our gift as a means of doing good, of lifting hands and filling hearts, of bringing joy to the low and giving voice to those without.
Desiree is very conscious of this need and is constantly offering her gifts to others through NILMDTS.
I am now helping out an amazing family and am turning to you, my friends, colleagues, family, and anyone else skipping through blog land on a cyber journey. After a recent blog post about our legacy sessions, I was contacted by some long time friends about doing a session for their daughter. She is in the end stages of her fight with cancer and has little time left here with her family.
They had an amazing trip planned out and had a number of places donating various things to this 'Make a Wish' type opportunity. I was going to fly to vegas to do the session of her and her dad and capture a day in their life. As things go, she is not doing as well as hoped. And the trip that they had all so optimistically hoped for...
It's not easy to change a flight at the last minute and the fares are substantially more. I am also wanting to put together a custom photobook for the family! I am asking your for help in doing this. And it's not that this great family can't afford it, they can, it's that they shouldn't have to. There have been sooooooo many times in my life when people have stepped in and offered a hand when they didn't have to and not only was I blessed for that, I am sure each of those people were blessed as well. So please call us or email us and let us know if there is anything you might be able to do that would help. (Unless you make over $250K a year, then your budget might be a little tight, what with all the new taxes and what not!!!... jk) ; ]
