Please set your DVR, TiVo, Windows Media Center, or yes even the old school VCR (yes some people still rock the video tape!!)
Anyway, Channel 13 news 10:00 PM Tuesday the 18th. Kim Holland will be doing a report on Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.
It will feature two photographers here in Albuquerque that do a huge amount for this charity. The first is Vickie, with Blue sky images. The other is our very own Desiree. Many of you know about the work that she does for NILMTDS. She sees many of you at the hospital when she is there with a family.
This is such an amazing organization and does such a great service to so many families. It is a very personal, intimate, and emotionally involved thing to be a part of. Desiree has been given a great gift to be able to work with families that are experiencing loss.
Because the need/desire for this service is growing so is the need for willing, capable photographers to help. If you know of anyone, or you yourself would be interested, contact NILMDTS or one of the affiliated photographers here in town.

I've got my DVR all ready to go, I think it is wonderful that the photographers that do this service are being recognized for the love and compassion they offer to these families who have experienced such loss. As Desirees mom I know the times she is called away from her bed in the middle of the night after a very long day of weddings, shoots, or editing. I see the empathy love and warmth and comfort she provides for these families, never expecting anything in return. I am so proud of the charity and love in her heart that she has and I know that our gracious Heavenly Father is aware and blessings will be poured out for her acts of kindness and willingness to help at such an important time for these sweet families.
For those that would like to see the story, it is posted on KRQE's website. What a beautiful story...
