Kölsch

So I have never seen a sharing of a beer during a ceremony until now! And, I'm no beer drinker so i wouldn't know but, it must be some pretty good stuff to warrant a place in the ceremony of Markus and Jessica.
What beer you ask? Well don't let Markus hear you say that, because I believe to most Kölner believe there is only one beer, Kölsch.
Anyway, it was great how Linda Mertz from awakened weddings so easily incorporated the Kölsch into the ceremony.
We love backyard affairs and this was no exception. We had a brilliant time and really enjoyed spending time with and photographing Jessica and Markus and their families!

Inspiration...

Recently Desiree and I joined a gym. Not like Desiree needs it because she is smokin' hot. But I still need to dropped the baby weight I gained when we started having kids! What inspired me most recently was this couple Gena and Curtiss.
They are an amazingly beautiful couple and have transformed their lives over the past year in a way that few can.
We only met these two earlier in the year and quickly fell in love, not only with them, but who they really are.
We have the great pleasure of being able to work with them on their wedding. Which was considered by many, the event of the year.
They were married at the chapel at Hotel Albuquerque. It was an intimate ceremony with family and the closest of friends.
The Reception was held at Hotel Andaluz. Robert with Distracted by Decor, set the mood of the evening with and absolutly beautiul room design. Albuquerque Florist provided flowers, Cake Odessy made an incredibly stunning cake.
Chef Isreal presented a 5 course meal for all the quests.
It was simply beautiful.
Anyway, hear are just a few of the images from the wedding day. We are shooting with them again soon for their after session and are so excited to share those pictures with everyone!



While Desiree started her day at the salon with the ladies, I met up with the guy at Albuquerque Indoor Carting for a couple of prenuptial races!





































So Robert, with Distracted by Decor, did an amazing job transforming this space into a super elegant reception area!
