Ocean Breeze

we rolled into phoenix mid afternoon to 114 degrees. We got to my folks place and the kids immediately ran through the house and jumped in the pool. I, of course, wanted to stay in the house where the AC was a little more tolerable. We were there for a couple of days hanging out with the kids and getting ready for our wedding at the end of the week.
we left phoenix in the morning to 112 degree sun and pulled into Redondo Beach, CA to a beautiful 69 degree afternoon. We fought traffic most of the way through the valley and I cursed the LA area, asking why anyone would want to live there. Once i got out into that perfect weather, it became pretty clear.

The AJ and Noelle found a beautiful church right on the cliffs of Palos Verdes. http://www.panoramio.com/photo/57046914

It is an absolutely amazing location. The ocean breeze comes into the chapel through the large glass doors that provide a view of the ocean and coastline to the north. after the ceremony we took a bit of time and went to a cove south of the church and did some pictures and then back to the reception at a a private estate on strawberry lane.

Angelfire yes....please!

We have had a very busy wedding season and Labor day weekend was no exception! In fact I think it may have been the busiest wedding weekend we've ever had.  One of the sessions that we photographed was Eddy & Janelle's connection session.  When discussing a location that made them feel comfortable, Angelfire was mentioned as a home away from home.  When we arrived the weather had turned chilly, but that made them just snuggle in a little but more. The two of them are so gentle to each other and the love that is shared between the two of them is evident to all around.  Nothing fake or forced, but simple, pure love.  The scenery was AMAZING and Seth was even able to practice his manners as Eddy so kindly reminded him!!!!
Enjoy!-Desiree
