That's what she said!

I have thought about this post for a while and wasn't sure how exactly to write it. It was really hard...
I could go on about this couple but I'm keeping it short. Otherwise it would be way to long...
Do I make this post about the couple themselves, about our experience with them, or about the the wedding in general?
That's always a struggle for me. So here it is:
First I wanted to thank all those who were a part of the wedding because it went very well for us and when people like these participate in the wedding I know our job is going to be so much easier because of these good professionals doing their jobs!
So, Karen Stallard with Celebrations was the event coordinator. We always enjoy working with her because we can always go to her to know exactly whats going on and when.

Justin and Eric with Complete Music were there DJ-ing and MC-ing. We can't tell you how glad we are to get to an event and see Justin setting up his speakers and testing his mics. We know that whatever happens schedule wise he can quickly and seamlessly get things on track again without any stress to the couple. Justin was training Eric, a new DJ for complete. We worked with him at another event last night, he's really coming along and we are excited to work with him in the future as well!

Mille Fleur Floral provided the absolutely beautiful flowers. They are truly one of the best floral providers in ABQ.

The ceremony was held at the botanical garden and the reception at Hyatt downtown.

So thank you to all the vendors who made this so wonderful.

Now for the couple. We love these two so much, they are so fun, relaxed and easy to work with. No muss no fuss just a fun, sweet couple. You may remember them from the session we did of them at the lab, the Isotopes ball park.

Anyway Shelby was just beautiful and Justin, well he didn't look half bad either.
I loved seeing her dad, a big ole country boy in his big black hat, walk Shelby down the isle. I tried to watch to see how many people were crying and it was not a few.

Vendors aside, the wedding day is really a joy, when we lucky enough to work with such a beautiful couple!!!

The weather, there is always weather.

New Mexico is generally blessed with blue sky and moderate weather. In the spring, however you can pretty much bank on wind. Fall, that is something different. You can never really tell what is going to happen... It seems like the weddings we have had out at prairie Star lately have had some sort of weather. Though it can cause some problems for ceremonies and some pictures, It can be great for others. The Sandias, covered in clouds is such a rarity that having them in your wedding images is pretty cool.
Anyway, Kristin and Rick had a beautiful wedding and though the weather turned a little, we had a great time!
