It's what love looks like.

People come in all kinds. Race, ethnicity, culture, gender, and on and on. Love comes in many forms too. It can be the form of a mom holding the hand of her baby girls as she helps her walk. It can be the the form of a young man watching the girls on the beach, ok that's lust, whatever! It can be the laughter of friendship from two girls at the mall. In all it's forms, we recognize it, it touches us. Well it touches some of us, others may not care. And who cares about those people anyway.
Desiree and I love love. We love it in all it's forms from the welcome of life to the last kiss before death. We also love people.
I especially love this couple. I hadn't had the chance to meet with Matt or Katie until we did this shoot. I have been editing so much that I am generally tucked away in the back in front of the computer while Desiree is the face of jones. Which is a beautiful face, for sure!!!
Anyway, when we met Katie and Matt in the plaza of Old Town. I was a bit nervous as I always am, and I was trying to run through my head where we were going to go and what we were going to do. We said our hellos made my introduction and started walking to the first area I was thinking of photographing. In talking to them in between the gazebo of the plaza and the little walkway we shot at, I started to realize I really didn't need to to worry about what where and how. I saw love I recognized it and Desiree and I just needed to capture it. So we walked a bit, talked a bit, shot a bit and had a great time. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed spending an hour with these two! I wish I would have worn my red crocks too. they looked so comfy on Katie's feet as we were walking around.
Yes, I do own red crocks; red is a good color for me.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy these images and can see the love that Desiree and I did.
