From South to North

This summer we had so many wonderful weddings and travel opportunities, and this was no different. We met up with Mike and Angie for some connection time in Las Cruces, at one of our favorite places to hike and photograph. And then their wedding was on family land in Taos where 4 generations of Mike's family have either married or shared their marriage celebration with family. The wedding was on the 4th of July and was a perfect mix of Mike and Angie's style, from the laid back ceremony, with Mike's first love being the ring dog, to the amazing BBQ from Texas BBQ in Taos, to fireworks and dancing to the wee hours of the morning! Congrats and thanks to Mike and Angie for sharing their day with us!

A freshly picked lavender bouquet to hold the place for Angie's mom who passed away after a battle with cancer.

I love me some flare!!!

Angie loves watermelon, hence the color of the bridesmaids gowns, and what's a Fourth of July blowout without a watermelon eating contest?

I had no idea that the silly string I had been toting around all day in my bag was so Angie's dad and the rest of the guests could have a war during the cake cutting. I also didn't realize it was all Angie's idea!

A few groomsman created the fireworks show during Mike and Angie's first dance.

Nothin' better than a wedding bonfire!
