Lucky couple gets lucky again!

Paul and Dianna were married on 7-7-07 and we were lucky enough to be able to photograph that amazing event! And we were again thrilled when they called us to let us know they were expecting a baby girl! They brought Kristin into the studio when she was two weeks old and we again were blessed to photograph this newest lucky addition to their life!

Another wedding couple from last year celebrated their anniversary with a new bundle, this one is destined to be a fabulous soccer player with mom, dad, aunts and even grandma still on competitive teams he doesn't have much of a choice! Gooooooo Paulo!!

Babies, babies everywhere!

This summer we have had quite the influx of maternity and newborn sessions, I guess there is something in the water! I always tell our wedding couples I hate to see them get married because that means I don't' get to hear from them as often, a few years ago we created our "Newlife" options so I get to keep my friends and we get to be a part of their growing family!
We photographed Chris and Sara's wedding in 2005, and we were delighted when they let us know they were going to be having a baby! Here are a few images from their maternity session and when Alexa did finally make her appearance we photographed her newborn session at 2 weeks old.

12 days old and ready to go!

We are so behind on blogging, that even though we photographed this little guy when he was 12 days old, he's now a month and a half! So I thought I would at least get a few of our favorite images up, so everyone can see how advanced Sean is at (or was) at 12 days! I know if I had gone to our pediatrician for our munchkin's 2 week appointment and told her that he is so strong, he can hold his feet and head up, simultaneously, at tummy time she probably wouldn't have believed me, but here's proof that it's possible! Congrats Moore family!

OK Stephanie, here is your sneak preview of your images. I just randomly went through the session and pulled out three that popped out at me. I know going into the session you weren't quite sure what direction you wanted to take it so hopefully we were able to capture something that you will love.

Jenny Joins Jones

We've been waiting for a while for Jenny to finish school in Arizona and join us here in ABQ. She just finished in last week and is here ready to get going. Jenny is an excellent photographer who will be shooting a lot of kids and HS seniors. We are looking forward to having her work with us and are looking forward to have her work as part of our studio's portfolio.

A beautiful time

Lately we have found ourselves shooting more and more portrait sessions - which Seth loves a lot. We are able to really open up our creative minds and run with ideas and interests. We had the chance to work with one of our favorite clients this week - Teal and her daughter Alyssa.

This session found us all in Teal's bathroom shooting her and Alyssa in the shower. Aside from the lighting difficulties we had to work through, the images came our beautifully. It was truly a pleasure to be able to preserve these intimate moments for teal and her daughter.

Unfortunatly, moments like these are what we so long to remeber but too often forget. We are so blessed in what we do to be able to ensure that these memories will not be forgotton but live on eternally. Thanks teal!
